Recycling Program-Hotel In-Room & Estate-wide

- Re-purposed stained or worn hotel towels and linens
- Participation in Re-Cork America project for all wine cork recycling
- Recycled paper and corn-based products used in food service and banqueting
Irrigation & Landscaping
- Partial landscaping irrigation for the 23-acre Vintage Estate sourced from on-site well
- Local garden compost recycling of landscaping debris
Cleaning
- Cleanwell® 100% all natural, biodegradable germicides used for daily cleaning of the 13,000-square-foot Spa Villagio
Conservation & Energy Efficiency
- Low Voltage, CFL and HPS lighting used throughout the Estate properties
- Low flow water shower heads and toilets used in all areas of the Estate properties
- All meeting room thermostats 24-hour/7-day programmable for energy efficiency
- 99% use of water-based paints Estate wide
- 99% use of LCD computer monitors Estate wide using 1/3 the energy of CRT monitors
- All exterior Estate lighting on photo cell and/or time clock control
- State-of-the-art energy efficient HVAC equipment at new Spa Villagio with "Variable Frequency Drive Pump" motor controllers
- All new guestroom Air Conditioner units are Energy Star certified and 13 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficient Rating)
- Quarterly servicing and energy efficiency maintenance on all Estate refrigeration, boiler and HVAC equipment
- Weekly servicing of all washers, dryers and laundry equipment to ensure efficiency
- Duraflame Natural cleaner burning fire logs supplied in all guestrooms
- Annual Wellness Fair and Green Education program for our employees
